wrangle my reception.

oh em cee.

A wedding MC is the ‘go-to’ guy or gal of your wedding reception, or, as I like to call it, the ‘Reception Wrangler’.

Your RW is in charge of keeping the party going off without a hitch - making sure that YOU + your dearest are having the time of your lives.

And, if (touch wood) the train comes off the track I’ll be there to ‘pick it up pick it up pick it up’ before you even say ‘top up my champagne’

… that’s a lot of responsibility…

While picking a pal or relative is a crowd favourite, just remember there’s a lot sitting on the shoulders of that person. They may be limiting their booze, stressing over time or feeling like a fish out of water. There’s a heap more involved than your ‘slightly-funny-friend’ providing one-liners on the day.

so, what do you do then?

Well, in a simplified version, a lot! But here’s some of the ‘big ticket items’.

  •  Meet with YOU prior to the wedding

  •  Chat to all your vendors in advance and on the night – making sure we’re on the same page and that things run as smoothly as a babies bottom

    • What time’s food being served?

    • When’s sunset/golden light photos?

    • Is the muso ready to kick off your first dance?

  •  Put together a ‘run sheet’ and make sure that everything is running on time (or doing some quick thinking to get things back on track!)

  •  Wrangling the Reception; think – geeing up the crowds, housekeeping, intros, speeches, games etc etc

  •  Getting those VIBES HIGH. No cringy cliches on my watch, thanks!

  •  Facilitating any extras – cake cutting, toasts, games, dances, tosses

  •  Making sure you and your guests are having the BEST NIGHT EVER!

And then of course, there’s a bunch of resources too!

MC starts at $750 when added to ceremony package // $950 as stand-alone booking.
